Counseling

Sol's work supports individual adult clients that desire greater ease with anxiety, mild depression, PTSD, boundaries, self-organization and ADHD, life transitions, parenting, self-insight, relationships, rewilding of the psyche, mindfulness, development of one's soulful contribution in life, and other terrains. She particularly enjoys working with “high functioning misfits” and anxious queer folx. :)

At this time, Sol does not generally work with perpetrators of abuse or violence; psychosis (hallucinations or delusions); Bipolar Disorders; Schizophrenia; Schizoaffective Disorder; dissociative disorders, homicidality; personality disorders; Petulant, Impulsive, or Self-Destructive subtypes of Borderline Personality Disorder; cult religious abuse; or current or recent eating disorders, domestic violence, or addiction. They are not currently accepting new clients with chronic pain or chronic illness issues. If these issues arise in the course of  other counseling work, they may need to provide a referral to other care. Clients seeking initial care due to active suicidality are also better-served by another counselor.

Sol accepts certain insurances as an independent contractor through Mindful Therapy Group. Sessions are telehealth-only.

Getting Started

An initial 30-60 minute complementary phone call will help  determine if our work together may be a good fit.

If a counseling session is then scheduled, you would contact Mindful Therapy Group’s Intake Team to be entered into their system, have your billing/insurance information confirmed, and be provided with digital paperwork. This paperwork would need to be completed by 48 hours before your initial session.

Releases of Information are optional and are for permission for Sol to communicate with another person, such as a physician, prescriber, or family member.

A Good Faith Estimate (relevant to private pay clients) is available when scheduling.

Out of Pocket Session Fee (for those not using insurance): $150/hour
